help ...do any one take efexor

hi ...my docotr wants me to take efexor....i have read side effects god so many...i have tryd lots of oher types and they make me much worse..so is any one on this ..please write back let me no how u got on with them ...

Hi efexor does have some initial side feefects but they tend to wear off in 3 - 4 weeks for most people. They can be extrememly helpful to many people and is worth the wait for them to settle into your system. I am currently cutting down as I have been taking them for quite some time, apparently coming off them all together can ber tough.
Are you going to take the lowest dose 37.5 mg's to begin with? that won't be too bad as a higher dose and you can then increase them if needed. I was up to 300 + mg's a day once and now down to 75.
You will ot get all the side effects, I found it increased my anxiety a bit and I felt generally not good, it soon wore off.
