need help badly

hi im suffering from really bad anxiety & depression it all started when i gave birth to my daughter 5yrs ago i experienced a scary infection and ive sufferd from anxiety since then ive been to the doctors and they have put me on beta blockers but they really dont help but its nice to see that its not just me who is suffering from the same thing.ive asked my doc for councilling but they aint none available im still waiting so it would be nice to chat to people who are in the same situation.

Hi Angel, I'm in the same situation had a breakdown a couple of months ago and was in hospital for a month and still suffering from crippling anxiety - I have just joined this website to get support - I'm going to see my psychiatrist on Monday about the anxiety to see if I can get any other tablets - the depression has lifted a bit by taking anti-depressants (Peroxetine) which I have been taking for around 6 weeks. I'm sorry its taking so long for you to get the counsellng. Anyway maybe we can chat more and support each other? Tracy

sorry to hear you're not havin a good time with it at the mo, youve made a good start by coming here lots of people in the same boat and youl find lots of help and support here

just one thing, beta blockers i was on them once and they actually made me worse not any better everyones different of course but it might be that theyre not right for you either, ask your doc about the progress and if you're not happy theres plenty other tabs to try until you find the one thats right for you.
