stomach pains

My boyfriends sister was rushed into hospital a couple of weeks ago with really bad stomach pains. They have found out that she has a cyst on her ovaries. Ever since then I seem to have had bad stomach pain hurts when I exercise really bad wind and bloatedness. I suffer from anxiety anyway should I go to the docs? Been to the docs loads of times already this year with various things so don’t want them to think not her again!

I think the timing of your symptoms suggest they are probably anxiety related. About a month ago I started worrying about ovarian cancer and boom! I started having the exact symptoms I'd read about. I could swear they weren't in my head - they were as real as could be. But then I started worrying about mouth cancer and - just like that - my stomach symptoms vanished. But I am gradually learning that the mind can have a really powerful effect on the body.

But if it would help do go to your GP - that is what they are there for! xx
