Hi All

I've started taking 10mg of Citalopram for anxiety for 4 days and so far its been making me hot, aching, more anxious/tension etc ....shall I keep going?

Citalopram takes a few weeks to become effective, keep going, and if you get too anxious ask your GP for something to get over the first few weeks.

I would recommend persevering with it, I vowed to give any new med at least 3 months before I decided if it was helping or not... you have to give it time to kick in

I have been lucky, it has worked quite quickly for me

Hey JB I would carry on for a while.Same thing happened to me on citalopram,it took two weeks to settle with me.I felt really awful and sleepy but it did pass.

been taking citalopram 10mg for 10 days today - and I've got a wierd aching feeling in my body-especially legs and back and I feel edgy/anxious...is this normal? when does it stop??

sorry to keep asking questions but I'm worried i may be taking too much/too little....

Hi everyone

today is 21st day of taking citalopram 10mg per day and I feel awful - completely drugged-up and 'out of it'.....should I keep going pl/will it improve - it's hard to believe!?????

hi hun

if u are bothered by the meds talk to ur gp

everyone has varying amounts of side effects and requires different doses. it all trial and error trying to find the right balance for ur body

its taken me 3 months and its just feeling much better
