propanoyl and alcohol andlong term effects

Hi guys
I have been taking propanoyl since Nov last year, i am on 80 mg for palpatations and i also take 30 g duloxetine. The meds have helped my palps but i very concerned on the long term effects of these meds. I drink too much up to 3 times a week whilst on these meds which i know is not a good idea my gp seems to think its not dangerous but i not so sure, also does anyone know of the long term effects of these meds.
