Damien Rice's music seems to offer me comfort even at the most fragile of times x

Why are you trying to peddle potentially dangerous and addictive substances like Ativan on this site?
Do us all a favour and remove the anti anxiety link please

Anything by Jonathan Goldman or Tibetan singing bowls , also strangely those frequencies on youtube are very relaxing..

In dreams of mine - Faith and the muse
Wail of Sumer - Fields of the nephilim

Probably lots more, i never stop listening to music

    I have to recommend Enya.

Try Shepherd Moons or her new one And Winter Came. Just gorgeous.

I love this - the lyrics are quite sad but it relaxes me
I lay on a beach not long before I got ill, in Barbados, and I just felt like I was floating away, listening to it. It holds such lovely memories for me and I think maybe that is why I find it relaxes me. I just have to ignore the sad lyrics.

Me and my partner listen to james blunt as we go to sleep some nights

Pink floyd is also a regular addition to our relaxing times

The other one i'll recommend is metallia - lullabies, it's intended to babies as a lullabies album made up of metallica songs (all played on xylophones and quiet wood instruments etc)

    Individual songs:
den doda vinkeln by kent (foreign language but lovely song)
    heartbeats - jose gonzales
