looking for answers

Hi

I just happen to find this web site as i was searching the net for answers

I am a 25 year old college student who has been suffering from panic disorder with agoraphobia for 4 years.

it just started out of nowhere. I tried behavioral therapy and i was douing better until just recently. this is completly taking over my life. i never took the antidepressants prescribed to me but now i am reconcidering.

im thinking about trying hypnotherapy or something because i just cant do this anymore.. Im a yong talented woman and this is seriosly getting in my way. i can still go to school, and work (wich are both at 5 min from home) do my errands and stuff but i dont go out with friends or anything that a normal 25 year old should be douing. I sometimes come home from groceries and cry because that consisted of my weekly outing

hopeful ill find hope and strengt talking with all of you

You will find a great deal of comfort and support here. The fact that you are going out there each day is a positive thing however hard this is at the time. I know that panic disorder can close your world down very quickly if you let anxiety dictate what you will and will not do. I do not know much about hypnotherapy, am sure you will find good advice here from others who do.
