"cause the drugs dont work" - lalalaa de da

    Hello
Following a high anixiety episode last week, the doctor upped my medication to 30mg from 20mg (Paroxitine)
I am still feeling like ii am on a see-saw, and whilst generally 'ok' still have a long way to go.....
Could anyone give me any idea how long it will take for the increase in med to kick in? It has been 8 days now, and whilst i am no longer a quivering wreck, i am still far from my usual self.

If you were already on it it doesnt take 3-4 weeks for the increase to kick in, it should happen within a week at the latest. When my Paxil was increased from 40 to 60 I had effects within two days. They were not good effects however and the dosage needed to be lowered immediately but it should defintely be working within a week according to all my doctors and specialists
