when to take venlafaxine?

At what time of the day is it best to take this drug?
I am currently taking it about 18:00.
I went through a bad patch in the first week then it settled down now im in my third week and have started to feel a bit low again?
Has this happend to anyone else?

I take mine when i wake up (usualy about 1pm lol). Works for me, i don't really get any bad side-effects.

And after the first few weeks i had a bit of a downer, but after that things got better and it's helped me so much! Deffinatly keep up with it, and it you still feel down, ask your doctor if you could try a higher dose maybe?

You know I have tried literally almost every time of the day. And it changes with me over the years but I take mine when I wake up!.... I would try when you wake up and right before you go to bed to see how your body reacts and what its preference is. Good luck
