This one made me laugh, so I thought i'd share it. The junior minister from a local church invited me and my husband over to his place for dinner and I had to decline the invite because of my agoraphobia, on hearing the words "Sorry I won't be able to because of my agoraphobia" he looked at me with deep concern and said "oh? so what is it you can't eat then?" I did manage to enlighten the clergy, but only after laughing for a longer time than may have been strictly polite!
