Taking 5-htp for a couple of days -

Hi Louise,

I do feel less anxious since I have been taken 5htp and last time I took it I noticed a difference too. I haven't had any side effects since I have taken it and other people on here have said the same.

Although I feel less anxious it hasn't taken it away completely, I still get scared and anxious only its better more bearable, if that makes sense.
I don't know if the longer you take it the less anxious you feel, I'm going to keep taking it this time to see if it works.

You can buy 5-HTP over the counter in the UK in places like Holland and Barrett although they vary in quality. I have started taking 5-HTP patches recently, which I buy online. I much prefer these to tablets because I hate taking tablets and the effect always wears off quickly.
