    Thumbs up Stress Buster

    Hi everyone

Thought you might be intersted in the following:

According to research, If you're not carrying a supply of gum around with you, you could be missing a trick. For those moments when you're feeling wound-up, chew gum - sugar-free, of course! As well as reducing tension in the jaw, the chewing action stimulates part of the brain the hypothalamus - to help cut stress hormones in the body.

Printed in the health section of Woman mag. Worth a try.....if nothing else, your breath will smell fresh lol...

    Good tip.

I have been a 'chewer' for a few years now, and I had to admit that it became a bit of a comforting habit... you've just explained why now! Thanks.
