    ?New Anxiety Symptom

This awful Anxiety has thrown something else at me now (yet another thing for me to try and deal with) Has anyone experienced trying to look inside their own bodies. I know it sounds rediculous but its awful . Even when you close your eyes to sleep your literally trying to look inside. How can i help myself to stop this feeling and cacooned inside. Any advice would be very much appreciated Thankyou Sue[Duh!]

Not really sure what you mean by "looking inside". Physically trying to look inside or like, with your minds eye trying to look inside?

Try and change how you're viewing it somewhat and do it in conjunction with a guided meditation like a Yoga Nidra, a progressive muscle relaxation or a chackra meditation where the idea is to focus on parts of your body with a view to relaxing.

    Hi there,

I haven't experienced this so I don't know what it feels like, but how about turning it into a positive thing like Meg suggested? When I'm getting my accupuncture, I lay there and try to imagine me breathing in light, and breathing out all of the bad things inside me (looks like a swarm of insects like in the Green Mile...seen it??) Maybe try to visualize your body in a positive way?

Let us know how you get on,

    Lisa
