Doctor`s Appointment

Hi,

I`ve got a doc`s appointment Monday as I`m running out of Prozac. I`d like to think I am now ready to come off them as i`m feeling so much better. I guess I should leave that up to the doc as how am I suppose to know? I`ll keep you posted as to the outcome of my appointment.

I think you should both discuss it. You could tell him how you feel and you could listen to what he has to say and then hopefully come to a joint decision on what is best for your welfare.

How long have you been taking them? Most docs recommend a course of at least six months - I finished mine after about seven, I think. Glad you feel better and hope it goes well!

Thanks for the replies but I had a letter through this morning saying the surgery has had to cancel my appointment! I`ve got to ring up Monday morning now to try and get another one. I`ll keep you posted.

In answer to your question Seeker, I`ve been taking Prozac on and off for a year and nine months. I`ve taken them without a break since May.
