Weird Buzzing Feeling in Leg - with slight leg cramps?

I am having a very strange feeling in my left leg. It starts in my lower leg and kind of just buzzes or twitches - and is in sync with my pulse - which totally freaks me out. I keep thinking that I have a blood clot. I get pains in my groin occasionaly - right near my pulse point, which makes me spastic. Sometimes I can rationalize - I have a desk job, I don't get much exercise, etc. etc. but this is driving me nuts. It doesn't hurt - it just feels weird.
I just keep thinking that this is a blood clot or a blockage as I am a smoker.. not birth control or anything else... what could this be? How can I make it go away. Sometimes I get pain behind my leg that goes up into my rear end - so then I think that it's sciatica, but would sciatica pulsate like this?
I also get these small leg cramps - not horrible.. but they're there...

Ugh. I hate feeling like this.

hey i had weird buzzing in my thigh recently, it didn't hurt or anything but just really annoying but also triggering HA so really worried about what it could be??? It lasted about a week then went away, i'm syre it's normal!

anxiety or irritated nerves most likely. I have damaged lower back and get daily twiching and weird buzzing and sharp pains in both my legs and I can't ahve a blood clot in both!!!!!! I hope

Sounds like you have a back problem if you are getting pain into your rear end .

I could write a book on odd and weird pains and sensations from having irritated spinal nerves and on top of health anxiety its not fun.
