the power of now!

hi everyone,
i just wanted to let you all know about this brilliant book i'm reading, called 'the power of now', by ekhart tolle. it doesn't deal with panic or anxiety directly, but it teaches you how to totally immerse yourself in the present moment and let go of all your anxieties relating to the past or future, which probably fuel your panic.

it's quite hard going and doesn't offer any magic solutions, but it definitely offers a different way of looking at things and it really helps if you suffer from a constantly racing mind (when it feels like you can't switch off your brain).

I haven't read the book myself but I think there are also some affirmation type cards by the same author.

I love affirmation cards as you can prop one by your bed or use as a bookmark to remind you of ways of thinking that may help.
