I'm new - from Scotland

Hi

My name is Sharon and i stumbled on this site on one of my vast google sessions searching symptoms for my latest illness!!!

I have suffered from health anxiety and panic attacks since I was 18 I am now 34, they subsided somewhat in my mid 20's until around now although it has never gone away it has been manageable. I do also tend to get OCD about germs/cleanliness and since having my son (he is now 4) this has gotten worse.

I recently (7 weeks ago) had an ectopic pregnancy rupture whilst in France, lost nearly 2 litres of blood and was in a pretty bad way. Have been ok up until a few weeks ago and the old health anxiety is creeping back up in a bad way. Doc has put me on valium and an anti-anxiety med which i've yet to take.

It's fantastically reassuring to read about like minded people and I'm so happy to have found the site!
