whats the difference between an anxiety attack and a panic attack?

Hi - I totally am with you on this. I walked round Asda and was fine until I joined a queue

i know wat u mean i do exactly the same!!! i often fight with myself in asda coz my anx tells me i need to get out of asda and u will find me forcin myself up and down the aisles tellin my anxiety that i aint leavin asda til it leaves me!!!
i must look crazy to toher people but i dont really care as long as it gets the job done

I would rather call them anxiety attacks than panic attacks. Its just because anxiety sounds a lot more "acceptible" than panic. I dont know if you know what I mean. But yes I agree with those on here who say that anxiety is with you all day but panic flares up into a huge tidal wave of fear etc and you can feel "normal" in between them. I am not sure which is the worst either. Its all as bad to me.
