For the animals

Hi folks

Do you ever feel sorry for all the animals that have to live outdoors in this bitter winter weather?. Well i just thought i would pass on a few idea's that i try to do as much as possible at this time of year.


. If you put bread out for the birds, then it's a good idea to break it into
pieces and fry it in some oil first. It gives the birds the fat they would
normaly get from eating worms and other underground beasties.

. If you have any left over cat/dog food at the end of the day then this
could be put out for Hedgehogs, Stray cats or other small animals.

. Regular fresh water is always a nice idea too.

. Any old blankets/ quilts are always greatly recieved at your local
dogs trust. They even take old armchairs etc.

That so sweet Lisa.
I put food out for the bird's and I alway' take the dog's old toy's and bedding ect to our local rspca.

Any scrapps we have left in the kitchen goes up the little wooded area by us for the fox's.

Very good thinking. Animals Need this too, its not just people that think of them.
We have homes in the warmth and animals have to fend for themselfs and even in the cold, they still go out.
