HELP!! Dentist tomorrow

I've to get a tooth extracted tomorrow and I am really nervous about it, Its not really about getting the tooth out, more about being trapped in the dentists chair, What if I have a panic attack, HELP, My dentist is an attractive lady, younger than me, I don;t want to look like a big baby, I've not had a panic attack in a few years but still the fear is there

hi there..maybe by the time ive wrote this its too late..dont worry if you start to feel feeling of anxiety tell yourself you are in control and if needed you can get up and go outside if you want..you arent trapped anywhere..good luck

i feel the same way, I always have my hubby come in. Ask a friend maybe? Sibling, family member. Knowing someone is there makes me feel better.

Trust me I get panic when I have to get anything done with my teeth or other tests, or anything that kind of stuff.

I dread it.

Hope u got on okay at the dentist's.
I can relate, totally.
I freak out over the trapped issues too, not the pain ones.
After many visits being 'ok', last month I had a major episode.
I am back there today and am so embarrassed cos of last time.

Again, I hope you went on okay?
