Can Stress / anxiety Affect your Periods?

Hi

My period which usually are heavy and last for at least four days have this month only lasted two days and are very light, although they did start bang on time.

Is it possible that the stress I am in over my health in general has affected them?


I am now of course convinced I have some awful ovarian health problem!

Hi, yeh it definately can.....stress and anxiety can send everything haywire. Mine are similar and have gone down from lasting 6\7 days to only 2 and much lighter (ive had a very stressful couple of months) im personally not complaining, maybe one good thing to come out of anxiety

From what im aware most ovarian problems cause irregular/heavy bleeding...but im not gonna google that one lest i start worrying

Yes, most definitely! Ever since I've had anxiety mine went from being regular to all over the place.
