I have just head that David Cameron's 6 year old son Ivan died this morning. Ivan had severe problems which meant that he needed care 24 hours per day.
No matter what your political views are, I think we should all feel sadness and sympathy for David and his family at this sad time. The death of a child is something that nobody should have to endure.
God bless Ivan, rest in peace.

They played a soundbit of David talking about his son on the BBC news, it was very moving and made me cry, it's very sad and Gordon Brown did the right thing cancelling question time today as a mark of respect.

I saw that Katie and I cried too.
The love in that family is so evident. I don't know you keep breathing when your child dies. I hope the love in that family keeps them strong x

I still don't know who this person is but I did look up what was wrong with his son and I have to say it is so sad!
He had Cerebral Palsy and Ohtahara syndrome - which is basically a neurological disorder that causes horrible seizures and there is no real treatment! As the child gets older the disease gets worse and it always causes severe mental retardation!
My son has a seizure disorder and it was pure hell to watch him go thru seizures!
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this child.

Eeyore -this is the son of the leader of a politial party the Conservatives who are the main opposition to our current elected governing party. Maggie Thatcher was once the leader of the Conservative party and very fond of your Ronald Reagan !

Heard that he had died Didnt want to read the details.Its just very sad when a child dies having had no life at all.
