    Awww Nic,

I hope it goes a lot sooner than later... Living with this damn throat thing is horrible. When yours has gone it may help me feel a bit more confident that mine will fully go rather than be there in varying intensity every day.

    Best Wishes!

Ahhh thanks guys for some lovely replies. I appreciate them all so thanks for thinking of me [^]

Throat is still bad today and I am constantly swallowing and trying to clear it but I am sure a few of you know that feeling. It is not worrying me as such but it is annoying. There is no point letting it get to me cos then it makes it worse.

It will go, it has done before so I just stick at it and remind myself that it is anxiety that is all.

I will let you know how it goes.

Thanks again for your support and kind words.

Catch some of you in chat later

    Hi Nic

Sorry to hear about that... I am amazed how positive you remain still, which is great and it gives a message of hope to whoever reads it.
You're having a bad time but still, in your post , you're trying to reassure others which I think , is remarkably compassionate from you.
You're a star, god bless you.
Hope you'll feel better very soon.

    Florence.

Sorry you've been having a bad week Nic.

It is good that you are able to recognise that these throat symptoms are due to anxiety, even though they are still annoying.

Hope this passes and you are soon feeling better.

Thanks Nicola you are soooooo brave, and i know the symptoms are not nice and scary. Inspiration to us all. i think deep down we all know the rational side of anxiety and panic, overcomming it and with thoughts being so strong sometimes not so easy.

    Well done nicola xxxx

    Nic,

Good for you for realising that your symptoms are nothing more than anxiety and the reason why they are here......

I hope your drving trip is fine and dont stress too much.

I too get the throat/choking sensation on and off and I know its all down to stress and incorrect breathing..... it does pass though!!!

    Take care

    Just a quick update

Sore throat is no better and still got the swallowing issues. Making me gag at times but I bet a few of you on here know that.

Anyway I made an appointment with doc today and I like to get one as late as possible so I can go after work. If I go in the day then it is 1.5 hours round trip from work and all the early appointments (8.30am) go quick as well.

Well the first appointment I could get was 20th Sept!!! Great eh?

I am hoping the sore throat has gone by then as that is specifically what I am going about as I have had it so long but we shall see.

Let's hope it just goes away cos I really don't want anti-biotics!

Will post again when and if I ever go lol!

    Hi Nicola

I am sorry that your throat is no better and that you have to wait so long for a doctors appointment!

I will be thinking of you as I know how you feel and I hope that it goes before you have to see the doc

    Take care
