We live next to a small river, it has never been known to flood our property but it came a little too close for my comfort in 2000. Last year our roof leaked, and although it was renewed, I start to panic if we have heavy rain. I know it is stupid, and my family can't understand why I am not thinking logically. The river has a huge flood-plain and the roof is fixed!
Funnily enough I like spiders and snakes, creatures of which many others are phobic!

i'm the same as you with my unlogical phobias. I'm scared of sick, but i'll happily share my house with 4 rats (pets) that are also probably covered in disgusting things that'll make me ill anyway! Yet i don't seem to worry about that x
