    Are these palpitations ??

    Hi there
I have been suffering with panic disorder and anxiety for 10years which was mainly a social thing. Since having my first baby 4 months ago i have developed health anxiety which is horrible. I am taking venlafaxine and only in my second week on them, i was previously on citalopram and prozac (not together !).
Anyway twice in the last 2 weeks i have experienced unpleasant fluttering, heart beating in the bottom of my throat. the more i concentrate on them the longer they last. Anyway i find that if i belch they go !. Afterwards i am left with an achey feeling in my chest. I am not too worried as i know they can not harm me but its hard not to think about them a lot.
Are these palpitations, and could they be a side effect to meds, or am i taking in too much air hence the need to belch ?.
Would be grateful for thoughts .
