Vitamin B complex

I want to take a vitamin Bcomplex but I was wondering if that means I can no longer take my multivitamin as they also have vitamin b in. Reason why is because I tend to suffer from low iron and need to take a multi vit to get the 14mg of iron I need a day, which is too hard to acheiev from diet alone, especially as I'm vegitarian.

Aren't B vitamins water soluble meaning they can't build up to toxic levels in the body like vitamin A can?
