    raised ALT

    i recentlyhad a liver function test and my ALT was raised, iused to be a heavy drinker but havnet touched the stuff for a year, what could have caused this? can youdie fromit?

    General virus etc can cause this aswell as diabetes i think a history of drug abuse & autoimmune diseases such as hepatitis etc!
