Important Announcement Regarding Emails

Please do not reply to any email that you receive unless you know the person who sends it to you.
If you send an email through NMP your email address is visible to the person you send the email to.

Never open any attachment or reply to any email from anyone you do not know.

If you have any problems with receiving unwanted emails through NMP please let an admin know.
You can also turn off the option of receiving emails from the site if you so choose.

Hi Sandy,

Thanks from the Members & Myself for the 'Heads Up' on the email situation.

I'd just like to give some instructions for any New Members who are not familiar on how to change the settings so as not to receive emails from Members through the NMP site.

For setting your options to receive no emails from Members...

1. Go to your 'User CP', first link on left at the top of any Site page.

2. Click on 'Edit Options' in the 'Settings & Options' section of your 'Control Panel'.

3. Scroll the 'Edit Options' page down to the 'Messaging & Notification' section.

4. In the 'Receive Email' sub-section...
You will see...
If you do not want to receive these notices, disable this option.
Receive Email from Administrators

This should be Ticked so you can get messages & announcements from the NMP Site & Staff.

Below that, you will see...
You can allow other members to send you email messages.
Receive Email from Other Members

This is the check box that you need to clear so as not to receive emails from any Members of the NMP Site.

5. Once you have set your settings to what you want, scroll all the way down the 'Edit Options' page and click on 'Save Changes'.

Once saved you will be returned to the main 'Control Panel' page.

Just to add to this - even if you turn this option off the admins can still mail you - this it to make sure we can send important announcements out and members not miss them.
