cpn - help?

right i need to think from now until mid may of what kind of help i would like for anxiety, i tried group cbt it wasnt for me, they were on about group situations where they do courses and tasks, but im just not ready for that either - so what can i suggest as i know ill be told they are limited to how they can help me ?

what else could a cpn do to help the anxiety, it has been sugessted by pshychiatrist that she could go out with me but where? i tend to try all that with my nan etc and go out shopping that way i get to go where i want like garden places for plants or just town but sometimes that can be bit busy and i hide behin dher trying not to let her see how i really feel

Hi,
I have a cpn who has helped me a bit with my anxiety. She comes with me for a coffee to a local place and even though I feel really anxious, I sit it through. Later this week she is coming with me to an appointment and I am so very grateful for her support, without which I would be in bother as I couldn't attend this particular appointment with a family member as some of the stuff I may have to discuss, I want them protected from.
She has also organised an anxiety managent group for me. I know you say it is not for you, but everyone else in that group will be saying the same thing.
Why not give it a shot and see what a cpn has to say?
