No never heard of it, what is it? You say 1st step is to still the mind, do you mean like meditation think of nothing blank mind.
Feeling the flow and the energy of the universe as it washes over you & makes everything feel right again. Everything disappears but the vibrations & the flow of life itself & everything slows down. Everything is nothing. Everything we need is provided for. Everything is as it should be!

........................ no I have never heard of a panicky Buddha......they concentrate/meditate to still their mind of thoughts. Its not even the 'stilling', its the control over the inner voice thats important for the anxiety levels. To recover well, the intrusive and panic stimulating thoughts need to stop............its the first step. Done well this will reduce the anxiety condition to an upper-low to low-medium level. ............ before the next step.
People with an anxiety condition have little control over what they are thinking.
