Mine started working with the homeless, it was far too stressful
Would love to be something like a psychiatric nurse but I have to be honest and say I cant see myself coping.

Hey guys,
I'm actually a Primary School Teacher! This might seem a bit strange to some because it is known to be a very stressful occupation! However, I find it quite comforting because of the children. They are all from a very deprived area, and their backgrounds and problems are huge comparedc to anything I've been through and it kind of helps me to put things into perspective.
Plus, when you've got 30 7-8 year olds to think about, you haven't got time to think about anything else!

Well the fact that you are working in what is a stressful environment yet are able to put it in perspective and deal with it suggests to me you will overcome your difficulties, well done.
I'm a PhD student - now that's stressful!!

I have always worked full time as a scientist in the food and pharmaeceutical industries until last year. I had to give up that job due to having ME.
I now work as a receptionist/pharmacist in the local veterinary practice.
I have also taken an exam recently and am also a pet nutrition councellor i.e. I advise people what to feed their pets for different problems. I only work part time but find it interesting.
Well people with ME are not advised to work full time , am I right?
