Paracetamol but also co-codamol are good and stronger. I go with the co-codamol as para doesnt do anything for my period pains and I am suffering right now!!Hot water bottle on stomach good (have mine on now) and nice hot bath and you be well away hun!

For me I take Nurofen/Ibubrofen or Paracetamol with no adverse affects. I have vicious headaches sometimes due to anxiety and stess and find that either or these help. As for period pain, I also use a hot waterbottle thats in a nice fluffy cover on my tummy and sit and watch some telly while the painkillers get to work.

Do not take Ibuprofen/Nurofen. There is a small risk that the two of these can interact badly with each other.
I did take the two together when I was on Citalopram and I was fine but was later advised not to.
