What is OCD[?]. Ive heard of it so many times and Iv never known what it is

Hiya

I don't have OCD but i can see how it can develop (to me it is just another strain of the anxiety I am feeling!!)

For example I was compulsively throat checking (to see if it was still open!) I was also washing my hands alot to make sure i didn't have traces of (what I called) 'bad' foods.

Luckily for me i managed to catch myself in time and I now stop myself b4 I check my throat of wash my hands for no specific reason (other than me being over anxious!!)

Hiya Jade,

Feeling as if your throat closing up is an anxiety symptom.

people check bags, doors etc all the time (it is human nature to check we have locked doors, have not forgotten anything etc. As long as it is not dominating your life don't worry too much about it.

Don't get too 'bogged' down by names (eg OCD etc)but in my opinion you do not have OCD (mind that is only my opinion)
