what symptom was it that eventually led your doctor to refer you for one of these scans?

wooziness, chronic drunk feeling, imbalance, confusion, dazed, spacey ... feeling as if inner ear plugged and woozy ... spinning feeling in brain NOT environment.

Results showed insignificant tiny blips in frontal lobe, neurologist and ENT said nothing to worry about, not MS although these blips can mean that sometimes, repeat in 6 months, I did'nt go back I have given up on modern medicine .......

Facial and tooth pain. MRI showed cysts, every MRI shows a zillion harmless cysts, nothing was found so it was a waste of time.

My first doctor wanted to rule out Schizophrenia and gave me a scan.
You can see permanent changes in the brain with the scan.
My brother had head injury and scan showed permanent damage.

Its good to do it at least for your own peace.

If you want one done for your own peace of mind you have to pay. I have mine done because I have a BT.

I had one because I was concerned I had ms (not the doctors) the scan came back clear, I still have the same symptoms, off balance, wooziness etc, but I was told my clinical exam was excellent and it was probably anxiety.

Same here ......... and I don't buy it. I am off balance and woozy at some of the most relaxed times, with zero anxiety ....... I won't revile those times lol ....
