HELP - Reducing my dose and am experiencing palpitations and insomnia

I've been withdrawing for a week now and it's horrible. I can't relax. I can't watch TV, I can't sit still to read. I excercise but even that doesn't slow me down. I have a glass of red wine in the evening, and nothing. I've reduced my caffeine intake. I take deep breaths. It's horrible. I'm scared to just sit and do nothing because I know I'll just focus on my palpitations.

Anybody else experienced these problems? How long do they last (I've been like this for a week) and what are effective ways to combat them.

    I've dropped from 40mg to 20mg.

    I'd really appreciate the advice
