weve just bought a caravan and are going on hol with our son and his family on Sunday to Wales.
We used to have caravan hols years ago and really enjoyed them.
But then we had an head on collision in Worcester cus the caravan started going from side to side and me hubby couldnt control the car.
Im so scared now.
Im just worried im going let everyone down.
Dont know how much longer I can keep up the acting im ok when im so anxious.

This is anticipatory anxiety cos of what happened before and no reason to believe it will happen this time.

I'm sure that was a fluke accident GP. I've towed many times. Get it balanced before you go, keep the speed below the 50 limit and you'll be fine.

I have a caravan to. They are much better built these days to stop them moving. It prob has an anti snake bar fitted too which should prevent this. And like maddie said take it easy and everything will be fine. When we tow ours it hardly moves and it's only a light weight van. In fact it moves so much more on the minor roads than on the motorway etc. Try to enjoy, if you are a bit nervous I'm sure the nerves will settle down once you get going, and that'll be another demon conqueured!!!!!
