re proxac for anxiety

Hi, I'm just wondering of anyone is taking prozac for anxiety? It always seems to say to take it for anxiety or OCD, so I'm just wondering if it works for anxiety?

I'm taking it just now, on my 10th day and it seems to be working a treat still a bit anixous but nowhere near as bad.

My shrink put me on it and said it works quite quickly for depression but more slowly for anxiety - can take up to 2 months to kick in but is powerful when it does
