Hi all, i have a question. Why do my boobs always hurt???? About 6 months ago a doctor said i had inflammation of the ribs, the pain of that went away but now my boobs are hurting me. I have had a breast check from my gp and he says there are no lumps. My ribs also hurt around my chest. Does anyone think that the inflamation of my ribs could be causing this pain????

Do you suffer with acid indigestion as that can cause pains in the chest/rib area?

I do have a hernia in my chest but it does not seem to be playing up atm. My ribs hurt more

A hernia in your chest? I've never heard of that.
But its quite possible for one problem to contribute to another. I pulled a muscle in my back, on the left side of my spine. I had pain in the area that got hurt. As it healed, I had pain in a variety of other spots in my back, including areas no where near the injury. For example, at its weirdest, I had pain on the right side of my spine as I bent over the sink to brush my teeth.
When I asked my dr, he gave the the answer I gave you.
