Has anyone ever heard of Alpha Stim device? Its supposed to help with Anxiety, Insomnia, and pain management by sending a light electrical current through ones brain via earclips. I learned about it from my alternative doctor and wondered if anyone has heard of it, used it, or are using it?

It seems to use similar techniques to electric current treatment, which is successful in treating anxiety and depression.
Supposedly the alpha-stim has been approved by American medical authorities.
Treatments with the alpha stim last between 20 minutes and an hour and benefits, which may occur within a day or two of your first treatment, can last up to 6-8 hours. Supposedly, the benefits are cumulative (they increase over time the more you use it) so after a couple of weeks or months you may not need to use it much.
I'd be very wary if I was you as I don't know anybody who has used it; but if you think it's worth a try I will be very interested to see if it works.
