    Need positive thoughts for today

Good morning all. It's 5am here and I've been up since about 3:30 when my husband left for work. He is traveling for his job and won't be back until Thursday, so this is the first night I've been without him for awhile. I still have the kids and job to keep me busy, but for some reason, his leaving is causing me anxiety. I haven't been able to sleep and I know I'm going to be really tired by dinner time. Just need some support today. I've been practicing some positive self-thoughts. He used to go away for a night all the time and it never caused me any problems. I don't know why it is today. Thanks.

    Hi Sickofit

It is hard when someone you rely on is away. Keeping busy will help.

    Thinking of you today.

Its worrying you because it is out of the ordinary to your usual routine and you are nervous of this. Its normal and fine to feel like this the first few times he is away again.

You are doing all the right things and we're close by in spirit..

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

Thanks everyone - you guys are the best. I had a pretty dull workday, but I got some exercise in after work. Now I'm taking the kids out for awhile. I have a school meeting to go to after dinner, then I'll conk out in front of the TV.
