I ordered a repeat cipralex prescription yesterday and the doctor put citalopram on the prescription thinking it was wrong i went back to the doctors today and they said that is right they have done this to everyone on cipralex giving them citalopram instead, anyone else noticed this recently, i'm not sure whether to trust these doctors, i don't want to get serious side effects by taking a totally different drug.

You could ask the pharmacist if you are still worried about this and not happy with the explanation given by your doctor.
I think Cipralex is a newer drug derived from Citalopram.

I'm no expert andrew, but I have definatly seen a few topics on forum about the fact that Cipralex and Citalopram are one in the same just that Cipralex is the newer one (I'm sure thats what was said).
You should search the forum for it to set your mind at ease.
