Fever - Just Worrying - AGAIN!

I am not having such a great day. I have had a tooth/prior root canal that is infected and am waiting to get the tooth extracted… but I have been feeling hot for the last two weeks (which my doctor said could just be a low grade fever from the infection) anyways, I have been freaking out that it could be something worse and of course my first thought is Cancer. I just went to Walgreen’s to get a thermometer – which was a mistake, because I do have a low grade fever 99. But I can’t stop worrying. Sorry to unload on you – I just am having an “anxious” day.

The most likely reason.

Take some Tylenol and reassess a few days after the tooth is dealt with, if you still have the fever then, then you can look into it further .

In absence of any other symptoms , its not a lot to go on to make such a sweeping self diagnosis.

Keep your thoughts rational and take logical steps to help yourself.
