    Positive thoughts please

    Hi All

    I am going with a friend to the Birmingham NEC tommorow to a wedding fayre. Its going to be a brilliant day but im getting anticipatory or however you say it LOL anxiety-im getting the train there and I am seeing myself getting short of breath and panicking being far away from home.

    Any advice on how to handle the day and please some of your amazing Positive thoughts.

    I am really excited about tommorow and I am going to think positive thoughts all the way X

    I agree with Nigel. Don't "see" yourself getting panicky. See yourself dealing well with the trip. See yourself having fun, enjoying some time away, etc. If you continue to have these thoughts; however, just try some of the positive thinking. My counselor would say that you are having negative self-talk and what happens is that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. When you feed your mind messages of negativity, they start to become reality.
