I would guess that like all enjoyable activities it's bound to help if you are able and are lucky enough to be allowed any and looking at it in reverse, I can certainly understand how it can cause our anxiety/depression to be worse through frustration when you're not able or never allowed any.

Now i've got a girlfriend sex seems less important, I find a lot of happiness in just going out for the day with her then curling up with a DVD at night. I mean the other night we were watching Red Dwarf then fell asleep together... the first night I slept over at hers we were so exhausted from our day out that I don't even remember getting in bed.

So sex is not the answer for me, it's companionship and getting away from day to day stress.

PS Now we all know what Eeyorelover does in her spare time!
