Vertigo

Hi

Does anyone else here suffer from vertigo? I have been told in the past i suffer from BPPV, but I worry that it is really something more.

I have had a few bouts of this over the years and I have woken up this morning feeling like I have vertigo. Its hard to explain but its like the back of my head is spinning, especially if I look up or down. its not as bad as it has been in the past but it still freaks me out everytime it happens. I am trying to ignore it today and hope it goes away but its difficult not to worry that I might be like this forever.

If anyone has a similar experience I would be grateful to hear from you.

Hi Meg

I have gotten this a few times recently and it really bothered me last week. I dod notice though that it always happens at the same time that i can feel a lot of tension in my neck and i always feel ilke ive got a bit if a tension headache with it. It feels a bit like waking up with a hangover without the drink first. I usually get globus at the same time. Im sure its so do with the neck muscles titghtenening around the veins in the neck. Im also sure that its ikay and we shouldnt worry about it
