pulse is bpm?

Just to clarify, your pulse is also your heart beats right? Like if you take your pulse and count the "pulses" in a 60 second timed period, that would give you your BPM right? Just wondering as I am not the best with this stuff. Sorry for the stupid question

Not too often anymore. Sometimes when I'm at the gym or playing Ball hockey I do. I have found that my resting heart rate is between 66-70. Should I be checking more often?

No , you should aim not to check it at all !!

Our hearts will self regulate beautifully without us nudging them .
