health anxiety, how i found help

hi all, i have suffered from panic attacks, general anxiety and health anxiety for over 20 years of my life, i have been on many types of anti-depressants and had some nasty side effects with them, ie racing heart shaking, which convinced me even more that i was gonna die, i have recently, thank god found a very understanding doctor who i found i could pour my heart out to and one who actually listened, he prescribed me propranolol and wow what a difference they have made to my life already, i no longer have that constant feeling of fear and dread and i feel my confidence is coming back, dont know if anyone else has tried these but for me they have been a godsend x

I'm glad that you have found an understanding Dr. Propranalol helped me in the early stages of my panic/anxiety, by taking the fight or flight element out of the attack and leaving me free to concentrate on the sensitised nerves and general anxiety.
