New Medication

After seeing a physchiatrist on 2 occasions she has eventually diagnosed Agorophobia and social Anxiety.

I have been taking Citalopram for 10 years (up and down with the doses). She has now discovered that it probably isn't doing anything anymore .I was taking 60mg until a few weeks ago. I have gradually weaned off of them and can honestly say that I feel no different at all coming off of them.

Tomorrow I start taking Venlafaxine for the first time (75mg and then up to 150mg). Apparently this pill works on the adrenalin as well as seratonin, so we shall see.

Has anyone else had experiences with Venlafaxine that they can tell me about? Hopefully someone might even have a success story!.
