Not sure Marti but doubt that you could be forced into it. Talk about added pressure!

They certainly shouldn't be videoing without your consent. Did they tell you what the video was for, maybe students?? It is possible the dr/counsellor wants it to refer back to to help with his sessions with you.. I would ask though because if you are uncomfortable with it it's not gonna help with your sessions.

I think she said one of the reasons was to show other colleagues if needed for advice on the case.
I'll ask again when i do have my first session but knowing i'm going to be under the spotlight is going to make me very anxious and the thought that the recordings could land into the wrong hands is very disturbing.

I wouldnt like being recorded. I'd have a word with them because they cant make you.
