Fears about religion are extremely common indeed although there are wide variation about the fears.
What are your fears and if you can, tell us a bit about your background ?

    Hi Angie

I sent you an email cos you signed the guest book and I suggested you came here but it seems that you have already found it so that is good.

Do you know why you have these thoughts and what started them?

Ok Angie, so they probably came a very long time ago, maybe a threat that was made when you were a child that sounded horrific at the time.

You may or may not want to get to the bottom of them but in the present time you will not have affected you or your family by allowing these thoughts to intrude.

They remain within your head only and are your thoughts alone. Not instructions from anywhere and not 'a sign' of things to come. It's no different from any of other intrusive obsessive thoughts - just a different topic thats caught your attention

Are you very religious too still ?

    Angie ,

Just because there are thoughts in your head there is no need to think anything will happen to your son. They are your own personal thoughts and nothing will have changed in you or your sons future because of something you said.

Could you speak to a priest/counsellor about it at all ?
